About

We are the Easts: Andrew, Brian, JD and Grant. We are brothers and cousins who have been close to beekeeping since we were born. While it was our great grandfather Madison that kicked it all off, it was our grandfather James who was the patriarch of the family that instilled this passion in all of us. James, or “Papa” as we called him, took great pride in his beekeeping efforts and shared his hobby with the entire family. We can all recall many fall days at his small farm extracting honey, making beeswax candles and being educated on all things about bees.

As we got older, we quickly learned that bees were much more than honey, candles and the incredible consumer products we all know. These fascinating creatures play such a substantial role in our environment and overall well-being as humans. Papa would stress how bees were starting to disappear and his last ask before he passed away was to take care of his beloved bees. Our goal is simple, to ensure that bees will be around for many years to come.

Papa ensured that we spent a substantial amount of time together as an entire family and we are forever grateful for the values and bond he established across all of us. He always told us to “Be so proud of everything we do that we would be willing to put our name to it.” We could not be prouder of Papa, and our family heritage and we are proud to bring this special part of our family to you.
